To achieve the goal of preserving history by activating community and regional partnerships, Fulshear Historical Association is excited to share the ongoing work of digital preservation. This contemporary method increases accessibility, employing technology to collect and disseminate knowledge for students, community members, researchers, and history enthusiasts alike. Digitization helps to broaden understanding of history's interconnectedness by providing tools for visualization, discussion, and sharing. With this in mind, we look forward to working alongside the Fulshear community to further this initiative, and to utilize this approach to support the work of local history organizations as partners in preservation.
